Six Mile River Resort was developed in 2009, and officially opened in 2012 by Mitch (Mama) & Doug (Capt) Dupont.

The resort is located at the bridge which divides Marsh Lake from Tagish River, commonly known as Six Mile River.  The resort boast of 400 ft riverfront 4.5 acre property with beach, dock and deck with stunning views in a beautiful and tranquil environment.  In the early 1900s, this heritage property was an RCMP Telegraph post and passageway to the goldfields of the Klondike. You'll sense of the days of the '98, from the heritage cabins and the collection of "old, old stuff" all around the resort

For 10 years the resort has been open to the public as one of the favorite and most popular destinations in Southern Lakes.  Boasting deliciously prepared SLOW FOOD  from our Rivers Edge Dining room.

This Year Mitch (Mama) has hung up her apron and the restaurant will not be operated on a daily basis. However, Special Events and spontaneous meals will be happening.  Reservations are required.

Ask a lot of questions, we have a lot of stories to tell!
