We are long time Yukoners who have dreamed of the privilege and opportunity of hosting guests from near and far in our lovely community of Tagish.


We opened Six Mile River Resort officially in the spring of 2012. This heritage property, in the early 1900's, was an RCMP Telegraph post. You'll feel the sense of the days of the 1898, the Heritage cabins and the collection of "old, old stuff" is everywhere to be viewed, so ask a lot of questions, we have a lot of stories to tell!  You can't miss our antique boat motors and antique tractor collection.

Drop in and soak up some midnight sun from our waterfront deck, relax and enjoy the vista while sipping on your favorite beverage.


This has to be the quietest place on Earth!  We are forever amazed at the tranquillity and peacefulness of our surroundings. 


Spend a night or more, in one of our opulent log cabins. We also have grassy open RV and camp sites, with water and hydro which are all situated near the river front.  The longer you stay the less you'll pay.

Extended stay guest have the use of our kayaks and canoes. We have a common fire pit and don'[t forget to bring your groceries to prepare your meals in our new guests kitchen.  They'll be a lot of events throughout the summer be sure to make your reservations early. and, check out our website for upcoming events and closures to the public.


Located in the Heart of Southern Lakes, your commute to  Atlin, BC, Whitehorse, YT or Skagway AK,  is a mere 1.15hrs away and only 20 minutes to Carcross, making Six Mile River Resort your home away from home. Tagish Lake, Six Mile River Marsh Lakes are one of three migratory paths in the Yukon. You will never be without views of perching Eagles, Loons, Duck and Swans (in early spring). Many other waterfowl frequent this waterway as well.

BIG FISH YUKON CHARTER and Capt. Doug can take you out to catch the big lake trout in our trophy fishing lakes.  Or you can fish off the Tagish Bridge which is literally at your door step. We have fishing licenses, bait and some gear on site for your convenience.


In the event you are doing the LOOP -  Whitehorse, Atlin, Carcross, Skagway,  do drop in for a visit and check out our place. We are always happy to meet you!

Queen Cabins

1 night $145 - 3 nights $125 per night - Extended stay $95 per night

Newly built cozy log cabins with Queen bed and opulent comforts. Each cabin has its own personal touch and is individually decorated with vintage items collected over the years.  Enjoy a paddle on the river in one of our complimentary canoes or Kayaks and relax on your private deck.   Please note , these Cabins do not have washrooms, they are hypoallergenic and  are not pet friendly.  

Trappers Cabin

One night $165 - 3 nights $125 - Extended stay $ 110

This is a historical and rustic cabin built at the turn of the century and is original to its location.  It has 1 double bed and a bunk bed suitable for friends or family. It can be heated by a wood stove which give you a real Yukon experience.  The cabin is quaint and comfortable loaded with artifacts and  decorated with vintage furniture. Its a great place to hang your fishing rod. This cabin is pet friendly  (additional charges apply) Enjoy a nice paddle on Six Mile River with Complimentary Canoe or Kayak .

One night $165 - 3 nights $125 - Extended stay $ 110

This Historical and heritage log cabin from the early 1900's. Very rustic, comfortable and spacious, with a wood stoves but alternately electric heat. warm and bright cabin with 1 double bed & a bunk for the kids, good for friends or family. There is no bathroom in the cabin, common washrooms near the cabins with hot showers and washrooms. Decorated with vintage items collected over the years. Small pets are allowed with a fee.

RV site up to 35'

$48 2p per night - 3 nights $38 per night - Extended stay $28 per night each additional person $10

Set up your RV in one of our grassy waterfront spots. Water and electric sites 30 amp  nearby common washrooms with hot showers and washroom. 


$20.00 for 2 persons per tent. $10 each additional person

We have a fully licensed Slow Food Restaurant, off sales, hot showers and free wifi. Please note use of showers for PA Guests and Camping guest are at an additional charge of $10.00 per person.                              All prices are subject to 5% GST.
