We are long time Yukoners who have dreamed of the privilege and opportunity of hosting guests from near and far in our lovely community of Tagish.

 

We opened Six Mile River Resort officially in the spring of 2012. This heritage property, in the early 1900s, was an RCMP Telegraph post. You'll feel the sense of the days of 1898, the Heritage cabins and the collection of "old, old stuff" is everywhere to be viewed, so ask a lot of questions, we have a lot of stories to tell!  You can't miss our antique boat motors and antique tractor collection.

Great venue for meetings, workshops, family reunions, private parties, fundraisers. Catering is available.

We have a fully licensed restaurant & offer off sales through the summer months

Drop in and soak up some midnight sun from our waterfront deck, relax and enjoy the vista while sipping on your favorite beverage.

 

This has to be the quietest place on Earth!  We are forever amazed at the tranquility and peacefulness of our surroundings. 

 

Spend a night or more, in one of our opulent log cabins. We also have grassy open RV and campsites, with water and hydro.  The longer you stay the less you'll pay, please enquire. Cabin guests have the use of COMPLIMENTARY  kayaks OR canoes. We have a common fire pit.

Located in the Heart of Southern Lakes, your commute to Atlin, BC., Whitehorse, YT or Skagway AK, is a mere 1.15hrs away and only 20 minutes to Carcross, making Six Mile River Resort your home away from home. Tagish Lake, Six Mile River and Marsh Lakes are one of three migratory paths in the Yukon. You will never be without views of perching Eagles, Loons, ducks and swans (in early spring). Many other waterfowl frequent this waterway as well.

You can fish off the Tagish Bridge which is literally at your doorstep. We have fishing licenses, bait and some gear on site for your convenience.
